Rashmika Mandanna urges young women to chase their dreams
Actress Rashmika Mandanna has partnered with HYBE India for its ongoing audition initiative, ‘HYBE INDIA Audition: Final Call’, encouraging young Indian women to pursue their dreams and explore opportunities to become global artists.
As part of the campaign, Rashmika features in a video reflecting on her own journey, the opportunities she received early on and the effort it took to turn those ambitions into reality. The video also includes glimpses of her childhood. She said every journey begins with an opportunity and the courage to take the first step, adding that looking back at her own path reminded her how much it takes to keep believing in oneself, work hard and say yes to possibilities that can lead somewhere previously unimaginable.
Calling the collaboration a first-of-its-kind opportunity in India, Rashmika said HYBE’s reputation for building some of the world’s biggest artists made its decision to scout talent in India especially exciting. She urged young women across the country who dream of becoming artists, performers or role models to make the most of the opportunity, adding that she hopes every girl with a dream gives herself that chance.
The ‘Final Call’ phase builds on the momentum of HYBE India’s earlier audition drive launched in March, and is open to Indian female participants born between 2005 and 2011 across categories including vocals, rap, dance, acting and modelling. The initiative aims to discover, nurture and develop talent from India with the potential to connect with audiences both at home and globally.
Rashmika, who has built a career spanning multiple Indian film industries and commands a following of over 50 million on Instagram, was last seen on screen in ‘Cocktail 2’, directed by Homi Adajania.
